We ask that the main and second supervisor (Rothamsted/academic or lead supervisors respectively) attend a supervisor induction session at the start of the studentship.  This is optional but encouraged for other supervisors of the supervisory team.  This would ideally be the session for your institution as local information will also be provided, but please feel free to join another session if this is more convenient for you.

This session will cover key things you need to know about the SWBio DTP and requirements of your students and yourselves as supervisors.  We hope this will ultimately make your role as a SWBio DTP supervisor easier.

Just a reminder that you have local SWBio DTP representatives based at your institution.  These include our Management, Implementation and Operational Group representatives, who each play different roles in supporting the DTP and yourselves.
