The BBSRC Policy Internship Scheme gives PhD students the opportunity to undertake placements at influential policy organisations. These can include parliamentary departments or non-governmental organisations (NGOs). I recently finished my placement at Senedd Research, working in the Health and Social Policy research team. This blog looks back at my time and development as a parliamentary researcher, the challenges associated with remote working and how the experience has shaped my career goals.
