We’re looking for an “in-house” scientist that can help give critical feedback in a lab setting as part of the Lumi product development. You would be free to design, set up and investigate any project that you want over the 3 month period but ideally it would be chemical synthesis work or BioTech related and working closely with our computer vision team and giving feedback, meaning they must be aligned with the product road map. Additionally, you would support the engineering team with interpreting customer needs and this might include site visits. You will need access to a lab if you are not based in Bristol but we do have a small budget for materials. Requirements We’re looking for people with: ● Min Undergraduate degree in Chemistry / biology / biochemistry or related ● Excellent communication, relationship-building skills ● Demonstrable prioritization, time management & organizational skills ● Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs ● Relationship management skills and openness to feedback ● Willingness and confidence to reach out & network ● Hands-on lab experience ● Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
Nice to have: ● Knowledge of and/or connections within the pharmaceutical industry |
